Join Doug and Lori McDonald and their team every second Saturday at our soup kitchen. They always need help with setting tables, preparing and serving a meal and cleaning up afterwards. Several times a year our Sunday School Students make table favors or placemats for the guests.

Jim and Liz Carey with a team of volunteers go the Christian Food Center once every other month to help with sorting out canned food items to get it prepared for distribution. This is a great way for your family to participate and work together in helping those in need within or community.

For the past three years we have helped collect school supplies to be distributed to our inner city youth. The donated school supplies help the children with having another successful year of learning.

Each year for Christmas we work with Family Services to provide presents to children who might not otherwise receive them.  Each child receives necessary items of clothing and a “toy” on their wish list. Help bring some extra joy to a young child’s Christmas.

Members of our church have worked with Habitat for Humanity to complete a Habitat house that was built entirely through the efforts of local churches. Most recently we worked on townhouses in our local community.

Some of our Members volunteer to come together once a quarter on a Thursday night to participate in a variety of outreach missions. These include writing welcome cards to new members of the community, distributing doorknob hangers advertising opportunities within the church such as our sports camp, Vacation Bible School and Harvest Festival, and delivering bibles to potential new members.

Every month our youth members take up an offering that is sent to help support a child at a children’s home in Kenya. This money goes towards clothing and providing school supplies to help educate the children.

Our children participate ever summer in our Vacation Bible School. The children in our community are taught about God through fun activities that consist of games, stories, crafts, music and worship.

We have successfully completed our fourth year of providing sports camps for children ages 5 through fifth grade. We teach the children in our community on how to play soccer, basketball, and baseball and flag football and hear about God in daily devotionals during camp.
